WV: Letters & Japan

E-cards from Japan.
The internet is awesome!
If you haven't heard my LG has run off to Japan! Fear not, she is documenting her adventures in a newly procured Tumblr blog. If you're nosy, or just want to see pretty pictures of Japan, you can see the blog {here} In the meantime, I've received e-postcards whenever there is moochable wifi present. Unfortunately, they were archived as spam by gmail. Oh, Gmail, you're quite the home-wrecker, aren't you?

LG has been collecting physical postcards for me too but, alas she does not know how to use the Japanese postal system. I assume I will be handed a large stack of postcards for me to read through/scrapbook when she returns. I'm always getting beautiful poems, drawings, and presents from LG so I thought I would try to make her a "Miss you!" card. Since, I can't mail it (because they're hopping around Japan so much and it's only for two weeks) I thought I would post the end result here.

materials: tea to weather paper, black/white construction paper, red thread, old book pages, silver button

instruments: needle, neutral PH adhesive, glue stick, & X-acto knife.

note: actual writing will be written in white ink in the large negative space next to the heart. I'm posting just the constructed finish because I am awkward with words and posting the love letter part would just be embarrassing for all parties involved. hey-o!
