| LG and I spinnin' ropes! |
Happy 4th nerdlies! To celebrate LG, our friend Kees, and myself ventured to Dolores Park to practice double dutching. We ended up having a line of people wanting to participate. Most failing or getting hit with the rope within a few seconds. This would be fine except I went to the park to specifically practice (I reallly suck). So, although we played all day, I am not really any better than when I started. Every few minutes, we'd get a bystander stop and stand around with puppy dog eyes that plead can i have a turn? Yes, you can have A turn. Unfortunately, they stuck around long after their first turn. We even tried moving to a isolated location on Tank Hill... still the same problem. However we did meet some awesome new nerd/geek friends, so I can't complain too much.
Winding down the day with rewatching Sailor Moon season 3 on youtube and catching up on internet-ness. I ordered a dvi adaptor so I could use my monitor but apparently the picture listed on amazon did not match the product. Doing it old school and splitting on my screen via browser width.
